WORLD HISTORY STANDARD 6C
Students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of how liberal democracy, private enterprise, and human rights movements have reshaped political and social life by analyzing why the Soviet Union and other communist governments collapsed and why the Soviet Union disintegrated in the 1980s and early 1990s.
